Meg Franko, MS

Senior Research Associate

Meg Franko joined the Butler Institute for Families in April 2012 to manage the cross-site evaluation efforts of Mile High United Way’s 11 statewide Social Innovation Fund early literacy grants. Previously, Meg conducted the cross-site evaluation efforts for Colorado’s 30 Early Childhood Councils at the Colorado Department of Education. She has also operated her own consulting business, working with public and non-profit clients to conduct program and policy evaluation, primarily focused on issues relating to young children.

Meg has over 20 years of experience at the national, state, and local levels with public policy, strategic planning, data analysis, community collaboration, and systems evaluation. She holds a Master of Science from the Heinz School for Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University and is currently working on her PhD in Education Leadership and Policy at the University of Denver.
