The Minority Over-representation (MOR) research project is examining differences in service patterns, court processes and client outcomes for families and children served by Denver County Department of Social Services.

Project Timeframe/Years: 2009-2011

Project Summary:

The MOR project is a partnership with Denver’s Minority Over-Representation Workgroup, a team of practitioners, managers and Judge Ashby, Presiding Judge, from Denver’s child welfare and court systems.  This research project is providing data about differential experiences in service patterns, court processes and client outcomes for families of all racial backgrounds in Denver’s child welfare system.  The research project is ongoing and final results are not yet available
